U.S. Marines with 2nd Platoon, Echo Company, 2nd Battalion 4th Marines, Battalion Landing Team, assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit(MEU), offload from a MV-22 Osprey on Landing Zone Mallard during exercise Koolendong 13 at Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia on August 30th, 2013. The 31st MEU is currently conducting Exercise Koolendong 13 to demonstrate its ability to move a Battalion sized force along with allied counterparts miles inland while independently sustaining itself for any type of mission that might take place as America's force of choice in the Asia-Pacific Region.
