This infographic was created using Adobe Photoshop to highlight U.S. Marines who demonstrated unwavering selflessness in the line of duty at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 12, 2026. The graphic honors Sgt. Kenneth Rick, who during his deployment to Afghanistan in 2014, was assigned to a security patrol when one of the Marines in his squad was wounded.
