This striking tension fabric display was designed to promote the awareness of the National Security Agency (NSA) and its mission, build public trust and confidence, and help the Agency meet its recruitment goals. Located at Baltimore Washington Airport, the full display included both this and a second panel with unique but related visuals-creating larger-than-life "bookend" effect that showcased the value of developing a career at NSA. A QR code engaged viewers and directed then to a custom landing page within the NSA.gov website. The display went live in August 2022 and has increased web traffic on the NSA.gov/Careers page by almost 20% in just 4 months.
Created with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, this bold design simultaneously communicated the Agency's mission, the technical skills required of potential applicants, and the diversity of our workforce. Thoughtfully curated and combined images in a monochromatic palette captured becoming part of that mission in an environment of equality; blue -to-red transitions spoke to cybersecurity and threat assessment. Appealing to a tech savvy audience of young professionals, this design told a story of self-confidence, pride, accomplishment, collaboration and impact. All design decisions supported the trademarked tagline, "Where Intelligence Goes to Work" to create a cohesive display that was on point an on brand.
