Exercise Tamiok Strike is a U.S. Army Pacific-led multinational training event with the Papua New Guinea Defence Force and regional partners, designed to strengthen interoperability, readiness, and regional security in the Indo-Pacific.
Taking place July 13-24, 2026, in Papua New Guinea, this sixth iteration of the bilateral exercise brings together approximately 100 U.S. Army Soldiers and about 75 PNGDF participants for combined training and cultural exchange. Training spans staff planning, field maneuver and stability operations, engineer civic action projects, bilateral health engagements, and religious leader engagements—advancing the enduring U.S.-Papua New Guinea partnership and a free, open, and secure Indo-Pacific.
