    Exercise Southern Jackaroo 2021 is a field training exercise between the Marine Corps, Australian Defence Force (ADF) and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF). The exercise enhances the ability for the three forces to conduct joint operation, enhancing interoperability and making a more lethal and postured force.
