Sea Breeze, an annual, multinational maritime exercise led by U.S. Navy 6th Fleet (SIXTHFLT) to enhance interoperability and capabilities among participating forces. The exercise has been held annually since 1997, except for: 2000 - due to the Kosovo War; 2003 and 2006 - due to U.S. Naval forces’ operational commitments; 2009 - due to a lack of host nation legislation providing status protection for U.S. ground forces to deploy to Ukraine, which prevented U.S. forces from co-hosting the exercise; and 2022 – due to the war in Ukraine.
Sea Breeze 2026 is split into two parts: Sea Breeze 26-1 and 26-2. This PAG encompasses the two iterations of the exercise and provides a comprehensive explanation of the differences of the two iterations.
