Patriot 26, sponsored by the National Guard Bureau (NGB) and accredited by the Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) Program, is a domestic operations exercise that joins National Guard troops with federal, state, and local emergency agencies to train in high-stress, simulated disaster scenarios. By training in realistic, high-pressure scenarios, participants build critical partnerships and improve interagency coordination before a real crisis occurs. The exercise ensures faster, more unified responses to state emergencies—ultimately saving lives and protecting communities.
