Operation Vigilant Catamount is a joint multi-county disaster response exercise in western North Carolina 5-14 June, 2017. The exercise, led by the North Carolina National Guard, will have dozens of local, state and federal disaster response agencies participating, to include the U.S. Air Force from Seymour Johnson Air Base. The exercise is designed to test and improve the integration of multiple local, state and federal partners during natural or man-made disasters.
