The New York City Fire Department in concert with U.S. Army North will conduct a training event at the Times Square Church on July 10, 2018. U.S. Northern Command and the City of New York will evaluate members of New York’s Emergency Services and the New York Army National Guard’s response to a simulated chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear event. The training event will involve civilian volunteers with professional moulage makeup simulating injuries. Pre-event training will occur at the New York Fire Department’s Fire Academy on Rosevelt Island on July 9, 2018.
