    Maritime Prepositioning Force Exercise (MPFEX) 20    

    Marines and Sailors from II Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) and Expeditionary Strike Group 2 conduct Maritime Prepositioning Force Exercise (MPFEX) 20, which focuses on sustaining proficiency in planning and executing maritime prepositioning operations. II MEF Forward will command and control the exercise from to Naval Support Activity Naples, Italy. MPFEX 20 provides an opportunity for II MEF to develop, refine, and test portions of theater opening and force deployment processes to gain MEF-level warfighting proficiency and readiness.
