Exercise Lightning Strike is a 25th Infantry Division level exercise held at Pohakuloa Training Area on Hawaii which trains squads up to the division staff.
Synchronized by the division staff, an aviation squadron, cavalry squadron, field artillery battalion and sustainment units come together in a consolidated effort defeat the enemy. The exercise also tests muli-domian operations in space and cyber and joint operations with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps.
