Key Resolve is an annual command post exercise that ensures the ROK-U.S. Alliance is prepared to defend the ROK, while training Alliance forces to respond to any potential event on the peninsula. It is the culmination of many months of planning and is based on realistic scenarios assuming various threats, but does not reflect any real-world situation or crisis.
