Eastern Sailor 19 is an annual, bilateral surface exercise between the U.S.
Navy and the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces. The U.S. military participates in more
than 80 exercises with partner nations in the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM)
area of responsibility each year. This exercise serves to expand levels of
cooperation between the U.S. Navy and Qatari Forces to build strength through
partnerships.
