Earnest Leader is an annual U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) sponsored, U.S. Army Central executed, exercise conducted with the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF). Its purpose is to foster a friendly environment that facilitates military cooperation, peacekeeping, and participation in regional security programs. All of these elements are vital components of CENTCOM's engagement strategy within its area of responsibility.
