At the invitation of the Serbian Government, U.S. service members will work with the Serbian Armed Forces to conduct an airborne insertion exercise and exchange jump wings. The event allows the U.S. and Serbia to work together in areas of mutual interest and build relationships that contribute to regional peace and stability. More than 100 U.S. service members from the 173rd Airborne Brigade and the 86th Airlift Wing will participate. The U.S. and Serbian militaries have worked together through the state partnership program between the Serbian Ministry of Defense and the Ohio National Guard, dating back to 2006.
