The Army is rapidly building its capability to manufacture and assemble small-unmanned aerial systems in coordination with industry and academia partners.
This is one part of a larger effort to increase advanced manufacturing at every level of the service. The Army is investing in the Organic Industrial Base to build the capacity to qualify, test and produce 3D-printed supplies and components.
