Remote Island Disaster Exercise (RIDEX) is a humanitarian assistance/disaster relief exercise organized and executed by the Japan Self-Defense Force. This year is the first iteration III MEF Forces were invited to participate. This collaboration demonstrates the future of our evolving capabilities as a bilateral team to support humanitarian and disaster relief operations.
