Munitions bunkers become rubble, save AF $3.5 million
The clawMembers of the 92nd Civil Engineer Squadron and the 92nd Contracting Squadron are working toward an Air Force goal of reducing our building footprint by demolishing 1950s-era munitions bunkers here and saving the Air Force approximately $3.5 million in the process.

Armed Forces Medical Examiner System transitions to Defense Health AgencyThe Armed Forces Medical Examiner System has a history dating back to the 1950s and early 1960s which evolved by the expansion of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology’s field of study that included a forensic pathology registry in 1958. In 1959, the Military Environmental Pathology Division was established consisting of forensic pathology, aviation medicine and toxicology and in 1962, the first forensic pathology fellowship in the United States was created.
