Korea, Japan, and the US wrapped up Exercise Freedom Edge 25 on September 19th, 2025, which trained forces across multiple fields including missile defense, and maritime security; and on September 18th, 2025 volunteers from across Sasebo joined a beach cleanup hosted by Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo as a community relations event.
