NAVAL STATION ROTA, SPAIN (June 25, 2025) Capt. Michael G. Mercado, the commanding officer of U.S. Naval Hospital Rota, visited AFN to discuss off-base medical service opportunities and resources available to service members, dependents and beneficiaries. NAVSTA Rota is a force multiplier, capable of promptly deploying and supporting combat-ready forces through land, air and sea, enabling warfighters and their families, sustaining the fleet and fostering the U.S. and Spanish partnership.
