The USS Frank Cable(AS 40) and crew of 400 Sailors returned to Naval Base Guam after a 5-month deployment in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region Nov. 8, 2016. Frank Cable, a submarine tender, departed in early June and provided fleet commanders vital flexibility and extended the range of impact for the U.S. Navy’s 5th and 7th Fleet area of operations.
