Force Recon Marines from the Force Reconnaissance Platoon, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit participated in an airfield seizure operation exercise on Sept. 17, 2016 in Guam. The Marines took to the sky in a C-130 aircraft, and conducted a high-altitude high-opening jump from 10,000 feet in the air, and landed at an airfield near Orote Point, Naval Base Guam.
