The family of the 40-foot sailboat Providence makes a Mayday call on VHF marine band radio channel 16 at about 1 a.m. Sunday, 4 miles northeast of Freeport, Texas. Coast Guard Station Freeport launched immediately and rescued the family of six and their sailboat. U.S. Coast Guard audio from Sector Houston-Galveston.
