As part of the Joint Monthly Access for Reserve Components (JMARC) visit to Kuwait Dec. 11-13 Maj. Gen. William Hickman, Maj. Gen. Perry Smith, Brig. Gen. Marta Carcana, Maj. Gen. John Nichols, and Maj. Gen. Jefferson Burton held a telephonic media round table to discuss the contributions provided by the National Guard units forward deployed in support of U.S. ARCENT operations in Kuwait. Topics included will be an assessment of the U.S. Army's efforts to build relationships and protect U.S. interests in the region.
