Army National Guard mechanics keep helicopters combat ready in Northern Afghanistan
LEAD: When every aircraft reaches a certain number of flight hours, it requires an in-depth inspection, commonly called a phase inspection. Senior Airman Michael Mason met up with members of Missouri’s Army National Guard while they completed a phase inspection on an Apache helicopter in Afghanistan.
