    Service members and civilians compete in a strength competition each month at the New Kabul Compound (NKC), attempting to achieve a combined weight of 1000 pounds between three different lifts. This story highlights one participant’s knowledge on strength training, as well as, tips on avoiding injury from NKC’s medical doctor.

    The interviews include two U.S. Army Soldiers and footage contains shots of Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, and civilians taking part in NKC’s 1000 lbs. Challenge.
