Afghan hands are experts who speak the local languages, know local culture, and provide connections among the Afghan government, its people and coalition forces. A key to the success of their mission is language. Though their training at the Defense Language Institute begins months before deploying, Marine Staff Sgt. Jayson Price introduces us to a few Afghan Hands as the receive refresher language training in country.
