Typhoon Sanba was projected to hit Okinawa as a super typhoon with annular characteristics. But, as the storm pulled closer to the island, its winds weakened and the storm’s movement began to slow and act more like a traditional typhoon. Marine Corporal Caz Krul has more on the island’s recovery efforts. Soundbites include SrA Jared Sims - 18th civil Engineer Squadron and AF SSgt Lauren Snyder – 18th Weather Flight Analyst. Produced by Cpl Caz Krul.
