    In war time, medical research studies that have been done because of casualties, have made great advances in medicine. Advancement of military medicine is one of the things that helps save the most lives. The Joint Combat Casualty Research Team is spread out to various locations in Afghanistan collecting data for research. The JC2RT’s contributions not only help save lives in the military, it also trickles over to civilian medicine.
