President Barack Obama awarded a posthumous Medal of Honor to Army SPC Leslie H. Sabo Jr., a Vietnam War veteran who gave his life protecting fellow soldiers during an ambush May 10, 1970, in Se San, Cambodia, during a ceremony at the White House. Sabo's suriving family members accepted the medal on his behalf.
