Marines with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, arrive at Kadena Base. The reinforced battalion is the new battalion landing team for the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. The Marines and Sailors will serve a sixth month deployment in Okinawa, training on island and patrolling the Asia Pacific attached to the Navy's Amphibious Squadron Eleven.
