With the help from soldiers of the 414th Civil Affairs Battalion, an Iraqi doctor trains mid-wives. Just like in the United States, healthcare in Iraq is a big issue. But unlike in the states, just getting healthcare is an effort. To help alleviate medical stresses in the Fallujah area, a basic first aid and mid wifery program is being conducted for local women. Reported and produced by Spc. Katie Summerhill, 366th MPAD.
