Williams retires from SC National Guard

Command Sgt. Maj. Gail Williams, S.C. National Guard, received numerous awards, including the Certificate of Service from Brig. Gen. Darlene Goff, Assistant Adjutant General, during her Retirement Ceremony July 13, 2013 in Columbia, S.C. Williams retired after serving 34 years with the Guard, eventually becoming the first African-American female command sergeant major in the S.C. National Guard.
