James Sneed, B Company, 3rd Battalion (Airborne), 509th Infantry Regiment, fires at a downrange target during nuclear, biological, and chemical training at the Small Arms Complex, June 17, 2013. Qualifying with their assigned weapons while wearing a M40A1 protective mask was the first in a group of tasks the Soldiers completed, including personal and warning equipment use, decontamination procedures, mask maintenance, and completion of the mask confidence course.
