Wyatt Chandler, B Company, 3rd Battalion (Airborne), 509th Infantry Regiment, receives a welcome stream of water to relieve the effects of chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile, or CS gas, after exiting the Arctic Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Chamber, June 17, 2013. The soldiers conducted nuclear, biological, and chemical training which included qualifying with their assigned weapons while wearing the M40A1 mask, personal and early warning equipment use, decontamination procedures, mask maintenance, and completion of the protective mask confidence course.
