Retired Master Sgt. Yvonne Aikens of the South Carolina Combat Veterans Group in attendance at the 8th Annual Vietnam Veterans Survivors and Remembrance Day Program on May 3. The event is held on the first Friday of each May and includes a small parade from the Dorn VA center in Columbia and culminates at the Hampton Street Memorial Park where there is a special ceremony at the Vietnam Wall where there are guest speakers, performances and a wreath laying.
