Serving up Success

Students from the Waffle House, a soldier-driven program that helps pay for the cost of the Test of English as a Foreign Language exam, including books and transportation, fill out paperwork April 6 at American University in Pristina, Kosovo. Soldiers from A. Company, 2/149th Lift Company host a 'Waffle House' where soldiers and contractors can come in for custom waffles every Sunday, with the proceeds going to help these students. Capt. Jon Strickland, commander of the 2/149th said it has been a great program that has helped get his soldiers off the base and to really interact with the local people. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
