Carole Hickerson, former POW Jim Hickerson and Vietnam veteran Tim Guard answer questions from a service member during a POW event held at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Memorial Chapel. The event featured the Hickersons and Guard as they shared their stories of service, wisdom and courage with sailors and airmen. The POW event was hosted by Rear Adm. Frank Ponds, commander, Navy Region Hawaii and Naval Surface Group Middle Pacific, and presented by the Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions, Junior Enlisted Association and Chiefs of the Waterfront.
