Soldiers team up with local school to promote reading, education

Pvt. Michael Ellis, a native of Florence, Ala., and a military police officer for the 2-3 Brigade Special Troops Battalion “Titans”, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, reads, “I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!”, by Dr. Seuss, at the Richmond Hill Elementary School, March 1. Soldiers of the 2-3 BSTB spent all day at the school reading Dr. Seuss books to the children in support of the community and the National Read Across America Day.
