Carreon is a straight-forward talker who sets high standards for himself and others, Roost said. He is always teaching his junior Marines everything he knows and tries as hard as he can to meet his goals. Carreon, who plans to get out of the Marine Corps, joined the military because he wanted an adventure and to get away from his hometown for a while. Now, he plans to return to Bay City to become a police officer.
