The major league legends included Jeff Nelson, Tim Salmon, Mike Remlinger and Dean Palmer. The athletes were traveling to various U.S. military installations in southwest Asia. Remlinger, a retired pitcher, is currently building up his strength for a possible return to major league baseball later this year. "I would like to go back to the Cubs," said Remlinger.
