SANTA BARBARA, CA (Dec. 3, 2023) Intelligence Specialist 2nd Class Demis Brown, from Memphis, Tennessee, Fiscal Year 2023 Sailor of the Year for the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), takes a photo of a USS Ronald Reagan display at the Young America’s Foundation Reagan Ranch Center during a tour in Santa Barbara, California, Dec. 3. Ten Sailors assigned to Ronald Reagan, including the four Fiscal Year 2023 Sailors of the Year for the ship, visited the center, Rancho del Cielo and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum, and attended the Reagan National Defense Forum to learn more about the ship’s namesake and his legacy.
