SIMI VALLEY, CA (Dec. 2, 2023) Aviation Support Equipment Technician Airman Gerino Ferguson, from Atlanta, Fiscal Year 2023 Bluejacket of the Year for the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), listens to a simulated telephone call as part of an exhibit at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum during a visit to Simi Valley, California, for the Reagan National Defense Forum (RNDF), Dec. 2. During the visit, Reagan Sailors also toured Young America’s Foundation Reagan Ranch Center and the Rancho Del Cielo, President Reagan’s previous vacation home, and attended the RNDF in order to learn more about the ship’s namesake and his legacy.
