Maj. Gen. Christopher R. Norrie, commanding general of the 3rd Infantry Division, speaks to the formation during a transfer of authority ceremony between 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, in Zagan, Poland, Sept. 23, 2023. The ceremony, officiated by Norrie was the last step in the transition between the two rotational brigades and marked the return of Black Jack Troopers to Fort Cavazos, Texas.
