A press conference was held, Nov. 30, at the Sichuan Provincial Military Command Training Base under Chengdu Military Command, China. The 8th Theater Sustainment Command, commanding general, Maj. Gen. Stephen Lyons who led the U.S. delegation and Chief of General Political Department Public Affairs, Maj. Gen. Tang Fen provide opening statement and answered questions from the media. The press conference occurred during the first USARPAC and PLA's first Joint Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief tabletop exercise.
