Staff Sgt. Joshua H. Franklin, a recruiter with Recruiting Substation Schenectady, Recruiting Station Albany, sprints with two, 30-pound ammunition cans during the maneuver under fire portion of the Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Nov. 5. The CFT is an annual Marine Corps training requirement all Marines must pass, designed to assess a Marine's fitness for the rigors of combat operations.
