Staff Sgt. Robert K. Helmstetter, a recruiter with Recruiting Substation Adirondack, Recruiting Station Albany, performs the ammunition can lift portion of the Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Nov. 5. The CFT is an annual Marine Corps training requirement that consists of an 880-yard sprint; a two-minute, 30-pound ammunition can lift; and maneuver under fire course.
