Ronald Oswald, commanding officer, NAVOPSPTCEN Ventura County, Calif., listens to Gloria, wife of Harold Abramson, tell the story of Abramson’s draft lottery number being the last number drawn one month before the end of World War II. Full Time Support and Navy Reserve sailors visited the Topanga Park Retirement Living facility during the Spirit of '45 celebration to spend time with the veterans and learn about the path they follow. The Spirit of '45 event was organized by VITAS Innovative Hospice Care and the Topanga Park facility to pay tribute to World War II veterans.
