Lieutenant Commander David Dinkins, chaplain, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, delivers his closing prayer during the opening ceremony of Exercise Crocodilo 2012. The exercise is designed to build upon the existing partnership shared between the United States and Timor-Leste. Marines and sailors of the 15th MEU and the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group will to conduct military training with the Timor-Leste Defense Forces and assist in humanitarian efforts to improve the medical and dental health of the local population.
