Col. Scott D. Campbell, commanding officer, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, presents his opening remarks during the opening ceremony of Exercise Crocodilo 2012. The exercise is a bilateral training exercise designed to build upon the existing partnership shared between the United States and Timor-Leste. Marines and sailors of the 15th MEU and the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group will to conduct military training with the Timor-Leste Defense Forces and assist in humanitarian efforts to improve the medical and dental health of the local population.
